Apple may be updating its iMac for educational and institutional customers based on a rumor early Monday. A 21.5-inch model is said to be in development that would use a dual 3.1GHz Core i3 (current generation, despite claims) and a modern AMD Radeon HD 6750M for graphics but rely on reduced storage and memory, along with the slight processor drop, to bring the price below $1,000. The specs 9to5 heard would give it just 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive.
