North Carolina town dumps paper agendas, uses iPads

The town of Cornelius, North Carolina (population around 25,000) may not seem like the kind of place where replacing paper meeting agenda packages with iPads would be a good use of taxpayer money, but town manager Anthony Roberts would beg to differ, The New York Times reports. In an interview, he explained that the $500 devices (which have been given out to 16 department heads in the town) actually save money.
