Rogers on Thursday started up its LTE network with first service in Canada's capital of Ottawa. The service can hit theoretical peaks of 75Mbps on current devices and is expected to more than double Verizon's speeds on its own 4G network at between 12Mbps to 25Mbps. The speed is fast enough that Rogers has suggested users could stream high quality HD video and use it for console-level multiplayer gaming or a videoconferencing robot like the Vgo (below).
