Responding to pressure from Senate inquiries looking into DUI-checkpoint and "speed trap" avoidance apps -- and almost exactly a month after Apple Vice President of Software Technology Guy Tribble promised to "look into" such apps -- Apple has revised its guidelines for the App Store to explicitly ban iOS apps that offer information on the location or timing of DUI checkpoints.
