A new service, Yudu, is promising to help magazine publishers avoid Apple's normal take of App Store revenue, according to Reuters. Apple claims 30 percent of the revenue from both general app sales and any in-app purchases. Yudu has set up a dual subscription system, though, which it says will allow people to download magazines through the App Store even when the purchase is made via the publisher.
