IK Multimedi/ have posted their iRig Recorder app ($5) for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch on the App Store, bringing quality recordings up to 16-bit 44.1kHz, allowing field recorders, podcasters and other audio professionals to create pro-quality vocal recordings that can then be transferred to computers for further work via e-mail, Wi-Fi, FTP or iTunes File Sharing. The app itself features a set of basic editing tools and effects to enhance the recordings, and organizes them by date or geographic location.
