Bringing uncompressed, high resolution video to remote displays is the goal of accessory maker Gefen's latest offering, the DVI DL CAT6 Extender. The extender makes a simple plug-and-play solution that promises lossless video transmission with zero dropouts to displays up to 200 feet away using two industry-standard CAT-6 cables. The kit is fully HDCP compliant (in single-link mode) and supports local and pass-through EDID options at resolutions up to 2560x1600.
