A number of 2011-edition MacBook Pros are having trouble holding Home Sharing connections with iOS devices, Apple's support forum shows. The issue occurs regardless of whether or not someone is using iTunes 10.2.1, and affects any iOS hardware including the Apple TV, which if it detects an iTunes library still fail to see the media in it. Replacement Pros may not yield any better results, and even some older Macs are reportedly impacted.
