Intel's Z68 chipset may bring SSD caching to more Macs, PCs

Intel along with the resumption of shipping its 6 series chipsets for 2011 Core processors also quietly slipped out a new chipset that could bring the rumored and since-discarded SSD OS loading feature to MacBook Pros and other computers. The Z68 is tailored to pros and enthusiasts and adds support for SSD caching, which can use a small flash drive to store frequently used info without having to use a slow virtual disk or depend on RAM.
