Apple decided not to wait for Intel's event on Thursday and took down the online Apple Store in advance of the now confirmed MacBook Pro update. The company is expected to return at shortly after 8:30AM Eastern with new 13-, 15- and 17-inch versions of the portables. Shipments to stores and resellers have suggested the systems will be available immediately.
