The 2009 first-person shooter originally for the PC and XBox 360, Darkest of Days, has been brought to the Mac by Virtual Programming. The game revolves around a time-travelling soldier who has to revisit some of history's greatest events -- from Pompeii in 79 AD to a World War II prisoner of war camp -- to save key individuals from being killed by rival time-travellers hoping to alter the course of world events.
