IK Multimedia has released a major upgrade of AmpliTube for iPad, version 2.0. The app performs multi-effects processing for guitar and bass. The new edition makes the important addition of a recorder; by default, however, it is limited to a one-track mode with re-amping support. An eight-track recorder costs extra, but also includes four effects in a master effects section.
