Amazon today served Apple ahead of itself by rolling out audio and video Kindle books for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The Kindle app can now play both audio or video clips in-line, such as video tips for a recipe or a recording of a historic speech. They should also be ideal for guided tours and other areas where more than a static image would work.
