Smith Micro recently launched an upgrade to its all-in-one animation tool for beginner and professional digital artists, Anime Studio Pro 7. The software allows users to create 2D movies, cartoons, and cut-out animations, as well as implement realistic shading and motion blur effects. New features include the ability to convert 2D vector layers into a 3D object, and new simulated-physics options which allows users to set gravity, density, friction and springiness of objects.
