Acer this afternoon shot down rumors that it would show Chrome OS devices at next month's Computex show. The company said it had "no short-term plans" to launch a netbook using Google's desktop OS. It maintained that Chrome OS was an "exciting product" but wasn't ready to commit to any plans.
