Apple is trying to defuse worries about iAd amongst other mobile advertisers, an All Things Digital report claims. Several firms are said to be in contact with people from Apple, the latter of whom allege that there is either no serious threat, or that the situation is not settled. iAd may have some inherent advantages when competing with other ad networks, including better marketing, and the ability to launch apps within apps.
