iDefrag 2 eliminates need for separate boot drive

Coriolis has launched iDefrag 2, an update of its defragmentation tool. The app attempts to improve on the performance of Mac OS X by reorganizing files on a hard drive for faster loading. The v2.0 upgrade makes it possible to defrag a boot drive without a separate bootable disc or drive; instead, a computer is simply rebooted into a special mode before cleanup begins.
