Advertisers plan to exploit iPad size, features

The nature of advertising on the iPad may be very different than on the iPhone or iPod touch, argue PointRoll and AdMarvel, two companies which have partnered to produce interactive iPad ads for publishers including USA Today. The firms note that while it is technically possible to use the same ad style across all Apple handhelds, they intend to seize more of a person's attention on the iPad, for instance by making ads expandable to occupy more screen space.
