The eBook war between Apple and Amazon seems to have begun by proxy, with titles published by Macmillan removed from Amazon’s catalogue yesterday - why? Because Amazon is punishing the publisher for arguing that the price of Kindle books should go up to $15, according to the New York Times.“Macmillan, like other publishers, has asked Amazon to raise the price of electronic books from $9.99 to around $15.
