Supertalent announced a new range of SSD intended for the professional markets, data servers at the head.
These discs use the new rising star of controllers for 2010, the Sandforce SF-1500. This controller is much superior to the Barefoot, the ex star of the SSD and supports up to 30.000 inputs/outputs a second in reading and writing. It also allows an increased security of the data thanks to improved ECC control and supports a system similar to an internal RAID 5 to be as certain as possible as the written data will be recoverable even in the event of a breakdown of memory cells. To finish it manages a system of data compression in writing so that allows it to reach the 250 MB/s in reading as well as for writing.The discs of Supertalent will be available in 50 and 100
