Intel denies Corei5 MacBook prize claims

Intel has rejected yesterday’s reports claiming imminent release of new Core i5 MacBook Pros. As reported by Spanish site Faq-Mac.com, an Intel promotion suggested Apple to be on the cusp of releasing new Core i5 MacBooks.  The advert said that two winners would recieve MacBook Pros with the new Core i5 processors. Ths just ain’t so, Intel claimed. The Mac prizes were meant to be HP laptops and a communication problem between Intel’s marketing and other departments caused the slip, the company explained.
