Google Docs now doubles as online backup service

Google on Tuesday announced it will soon upgrade its Google Docs service to hold files up to 250MB in size, letting users back up large graphics files, RAW photos, ZIP archives and more in the cloud. Google believes users can now give up USB drives they need to carry around with them to access their files on different computers and is an easier way to share larger files that cannot be easily emailed to co-workers or friends.
