iPhone: Good News from China

Apple is most likely a bit more pleased by the new figures after the very bad results from the iPhone launch day in China. It seems that China Unicom managed to sell 100,000 units over the first 40 days. Of course if we consider the potential number of customers, 100,000 units is a drop in the ocean, even though not every one can afford/make use of it. If we compare with other launch events outside USA, Orange reached 100,000 units sold within few days, same thing in Germany. In addition the model available from China Unicom has the Wi-Fi disabled and is more expensive, than the iPhone model available from the grey market in China.
