Seagate releases its first SSD, the Pulsar

Seagate has officially unveiled its first range of SSD discs, the Pulsar. These discs are not intended for the general public, but only for the professional market.  For this reason, they will be equipped with SLC memory, less dense but more enduring and powerful that the MLC that is used mostly in the currently sold SSD. They have a 5 years guarantee and a breakdown risk evaluated at 0,44% per annum. They will be equipped with a SATA II Interface and have a 2.5" format 7 mm thick.
