Apple has been granted six new patents, including an iChat filing and several submissions involving product design. The iChat video patent, titled ìDigital image coding system having self-adjusting selection criteria for selecting a transform function," relates to coding digital video images and reducing loss of image information by adjusting parameters in the coding process.
