Apple encounters domestic iPhone 3GS shortages

Apple Stores in the United States are experiencing widespread shortages of the iPhone 3GS, the company's stock-tracking systems show. As of Sunday, 13 out of 211 stores were completely sold out of the 3GS, in any capacity. The most difficult model to find is said to be the 16GB white phone, which is absent from more than half of locations at 121.
