LG today unveiled home theater hardware it would bring to the US as part of its CES introductions. The previously hinted at BD690 Blu-ray player is the core of the lineup and is one of the first of its kind known to support Wi-Fi Direct. It can make a point-to-point connection with a phone or other Wi-Fi device, even one that doesn't support Direct, for sharing and control.
